🌍 The Warrior Crosses Borders: My Next Chapter in Costa Rica

I am leaving the United States to live and work in Costa Rica. Not for luxury, not for escape, but for transformation. The farms, the forests, and the ocean will be my teachers. I go to trade my labor for food and shelter, to live simply, to test myself in discomfort, and to grow stronger. I will keep creating—through my camera, through words, through presence. My work continues wherever I am. This website is not just a gallery. It is a record of the warrior’s path—and Costa Rica is the next battlefield.

9/17 - Attempting to sell the car, then the dominos will fall to getting to Costa Rica

10/27 - Doing great on the process of leaving. Its taking longer than I thought. Maybe 4 more weeks.

1/11 - Currently sitting at a quiet comfortable hostel. Has Wifi. Quiet with slightly busy vehicles traveling in this area. But I made it and am relaxing but always ready for anything. Ill explain more later.

2/4 - I've been in Costa Rica for 3 weeks and 6 days. Ive never had this much freedom.

                   3 Weeks and 6 Days

Three weeks and six days in Costa Rica.
I’ve never known freedom like this.

Not the kind that announces itself.
The kind that settles into the body and stays.

My days are simple.
I train. I walk. I eat. I rest.

The gym is where I return to myself—
strength, posture, breath—
not performance, not escape, but presence.

I walk everywhere.

To buy food. To feel the ground.
Empanadas, warm and local, eaten without hurry.
Nothing excess. Nothing rushed.

And the sun here—
it doesn’t glare.
It glows.

A golden light moves through the days,
softening edges, slowing time,
teaching the body how to exhale again.

I am no longer living inside pressure or explanation.
No longer negotiating my place in the world.
I wake, I move, I listen.

Something ended before I came here.
Something heavy loosened its grip.
What followed wasn’t escape—
it was space.

This is not a vacation.
It’s a recalibration.

Three weeks and six days in,
and the signal is clear.

More will be written when the time is right.
